Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson continued his breakout season by tossing eight innings of one-run ball in a 5-1 win over the Rays on Thursday at Target Field. Gibson scattered five hits and struck out nine as the Twins won for the seventh time in eight games. Eddie Rosario led Minnesota`s offense with a two-run homer. Rays starter Blake Snell had his shortest start of the season, allowing three runs over three innings.
